YOUR POSTURE AND CORE STRENGTH?

Eleanor

I dipped in and out of practising Pilates for quite a few years, with Clare as one of my instructors. I quickly fell in love with how Pilates made me feel, not just my body but my mind as well. It really helped me to relax and release tension.

Then I had a running injury. A stress fracture in my hip and, long story short, I was out of action from running for more than 3 years as it turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. The hospital told me my running days were over, so I rehabilated myself through Pilates.

I now love sharing with people the benefits of Pilates and it’s such a joy to see customers progressing and becoming stronger.

Sarah-Lou

I’ve been in the fitness industry for 28 years.
During this time I have covered many different modalities of health and fitness.
Pilates is one aspect of it that I have taught for the past 13 years and have found it just helps you do everything better!

So now Pilates is a huge passion of mine, weekly I see the rehabilitation effects that it brings, building and rebuilding peoples resiliance to the challenges they have.

Not only does Pilates bring physical strength and resilliance it also brings peace and freedom to our bodies and minds.

Can’t wait to help you reap the benefits of Pilates

Clare Lindley

In January 2020 I made a promise to myself that I would do something physical. Something that would make me feel good and improve my  balance and posture.

I found Pilates!! I haven’t looked back.

With the encouragement of Clare, Eleanor and the team at new healthy body. 5 years later I have taken my love and commitment of Pilates to a whole new level by completing my mat Pilates instructor training.

Managing my own long term health condition. I fully understand and appreciate how physical exercise can be a difficult step to take. I’ve been there!

I’m so glad I took these steps because Pilates continues to have a huge positive impact on my own personal health and wellbeing. I want to share this with others, so they too can feel and experience this for themselves.

“I first stumbled into a Pilates class in my early 20s. I’d just finished a spin class, spotted a group taking part, and decided to give it a go. From that moment, I was hooked.

Pilates has been a constant in my life for nearly 18 years. I’ve practised through injuries, including a recurring knee issue caused by a high patella, which can lead to dislocations, and it was the first form of exercise I returned to after having my son.

Just before Covid, I trained to become an instructor. Being able to teach something I’ve loved for so many years has brought me so much joy. What I love most about Pilates is the chance to slow down, move with intention, and really connect with your body. My classes focus on mindful movement, building strength and confidence, and helping you leave feeling both stronger and more grounded.

One of the things I love most about Pilates is that it’s for everyone. Whether you’re already active, returning to exercise, or just starting out, it offers a way to feel stronger, move better, and reconnect with your body.

Alongside Pilates, I enjoy strength training and hiking, and you’ll often find me exploring the beautiful Peak District. I’m also a single mum to my wonderful son, Jack, and run my own small business. Life can be busy and noisy, so teaching Pilates is my chance to slow down, be present, and create that same space for the people in my classes.”

Jane Pilates Teacher

I have been teaching mat-based Pilates for a few years and was very lucky to have had Clare has one of my instructors on my Level 3 Pilates course.

As well as teaching several Pilates classes a week, I also deliver small group personal training, as I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer too.

My background is varied as I have done many different jobs and have trained in different fields.

However I feel that I have finally found what I love doing the most, which is helping others to stay fit, healthy and mobile.

Deborah Gommersall

I started my fitness career 22 years ago teaching various classes.

I began teaching Pilates 18 years ago and soon realised that was the area I wanted to specialise in.

I love helping people with orthopedic conditions such as Arthritis, Osteoporosis and other medical conditions.

And seeing the real changes that Pilates can make to their lives.
