Several years ago, I lived in constant pain for 9 months. I used to get up in the morning having had little sleep due to back pain, I relied on painkillers to get me through the day and I could not do the simplest daily tasks.

I was suffering from a prolapsed disc and severe degeneration of my discs, I had terrible sciatica and had endless appointments to the chiropractor, physiotherapist, back pain clinic and even went to see a back specialist. I was told that surgery was looking like my only hope!

I did Pilates!

Through my own personal journey, I became more passionate about Pilates, as I had not only experienced the results myself, but I was also seeing amazing results with the clients I was teaching at the gym I was working from.

Myself and my husband Andy decided we wanted to ensure other people knew about the power of Pilates and how they do not have to suffer with back pain and other aches and pains. Therefore, we founded New Healthy Body!
