I dipped in and out of practising Pilates for quite a few years, with Clare as one of my instructors. I quickly fell in love with how Pilates made me feel, not just my body but my mind as well. It really helped me to relax and release tension.
Then I had a running injury. A stress fracture in my hip and, long story short, I was out of action from running for more than 3 years as it turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. The hospital told me my running days were over, so I rehabilated myself through Pilates.
I now love sharing with people the benefits of Pilates and it’s such a joy to see customers progressing and becoming stronger.

Not only does Pilates bring physical strength and resilliance it also brings peace and freedom to our bodies and minds.

I found Pilates!! I haven’t looked back.
With the encouragement of Clare, Eleanor and the team at new healthy body. 5 years later I have taken my love and commitment of Pilates to a whole new level by completing my mat Pilates instructor training.
Managing my own long term health condition. I fully understand and appreciate how physical exercise can be a difficult step to take. I’ve been there!
I’m so glad I took these steps because Pilates continues to have a huge positive impact on my own personal health and wellbeing. I want to share this with others, so they too can feel and experience this for themselves.

I’ve been practicing yoga for around 15 years, having found it helpful for coping with stress while at university.
Since then, I’ve gone on to study as a yoga teacher, qualifying with my 200hr certificate in 2018, and my 500hr certificate in 2021. Alongside hatha, I also offer yin, restorative and pregnancy yoga classes.
Pilates has been a huge complement to my yoga practice, helping to further enhance my core strength and stability, while also improving my posture.
I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my crow pose since starting!
I also love how calming Pilates can be, and the benefits it has for focusing a busy mind.
The simple act of concentrating on the breath and engaging different muscles really gets me out of my head and into my body. This is something I love to share with others.

I started my fitness career 22 years ago teaching various classes.
I began teaching Pilates 18 years ago and soon realised that was the area I wanted to specialise in.
I love helping people with orthopedic conditions such as Arthritis, Osteoporosis and other medical conditions.
And seeing the real changes that Pilates can make to their lives.
